Things you must do to receive allowances via the Nsfas Wallet
• Your own cell phone and valid SIM card
• You must sign your NSFAS Bursary Agreement if you are a new student at NSFAS
• You will not need to withdraw cash to pay your landlord or any registered merchant.
The bursary scheme covers tuition fees, student accommodation, transport, personal care allowances, living allowance, and book allowances.
It is also advisable that students have access to the cell phone number used when applying for Nsfas, as this is the number that will be used by the scheme when depositing funds and further communication regarding the bursary.
