Two Rivers Platinum Mine: Learnership Programme/how to apply!

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to be placed on an Engineering Learning Programme (Apprenticeship). A limited number of positions are available.

The following Learnership / Apprenticeship Programmes are open for applications:

Diesel Mechanics Learnership

Reference No: HR/64/21

  • Grade 12 with:
  1. Mathematics & Physical Science (E Symbol),
  2. Motor mechanics SG (E Symbol on the old syllabus),
  3. Mechanical Technology (Automotive) (E Symbol on the new syllabus)
  • Or N2 Certificate with 4 subjects:
  1. Mathematics,
  2. Engineering Science,
  3. Engineering Drawing,
  4. Diesel or Motor Trade Theory.
  • Or Relevant Engineering NCV Certificate with seven subjects at NQF level 3;
  • Or Relevant (directly related to the trade theory subjects) N6 certificate or National Technical Diploma (T, S or N stream.);

Mechanical Fitter Learnership

Reference No: HR/65/21

  • Grade 12 with:
  1. Mathematics & Physical Science (E Symbol – not maths literacy),
  2. Mechanical Technology SG (E Symbol on the old syllabus),
  3. Engineering Graphics & Design (E Symbol on the new syllabus)
  • Or N2 Certificate with 4 subjects:
  1. Mathematics,
  2. Engineering Science,
  3. Engineering Drawing,
  4. Fitter Trade Theory or Fitting and Machining Theory
  • Or Relevant Engineering NCV Certificate with seven subjects at NQF level 3;
  • Or Relevant (directly related to the trade theory subjects) N6 certificate or National Technical Diploma (T, S or N stream.);

Millwright Learnership

Reference No: HR/66/21

  • Grade 12 with:
  1. Mathematics & Physical Science (i.e. minimum E Symbol – not maths literacy),
  2. Technica Electronics or Technical Drawings or Engineering Graphics and designs (i.e. minimum E Symbol on the new syllabus)
  3. Fitting & Turning/ Technica Mechanical or Mechanical Technology (i.e. minimum E Symbol on the new syllabus)
  4. Electrician Work / Technica Electrical or Electrical Technology (i.e. minimum E Symbol on the new syllabus)
  • Or N2 Certificate with 5 subjects:
  1. Electrical trade theory,
  2. Fitting and Machining Trade Theory,
  3. Engineering Science,
  4. Mathematics,
  5. Industrial Electronics / or Engineering Drawings
