The Astronomy Scholarship 2023–2024 is now accepting applications. Any student from any country may apply. A fully funded scholarship for undergraduate, master’s, or doctoral study in the Astronomy Scholarship. The Astronomy scholarship is open to applicants from more than 150 countries, although each has its own application process.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for Astronomy in Africa Scholarships for African Students, applicants are expected to meet the following conditions:

• Candidates from any African country are eligible to apply for Astronomy in Africa scholarships.
• Applicants must be eligible to register for an MSc degree at a South African university specializing in astrophysics/astronomy. 
• Candidates must have liaised with potential supervisors from recognized South African universities.
• Potential supervisors must provide an accompanying letter of support for the candidate, which includes a brief statement of the proposed research project
