Assessor and a Moderator For Project Management NQF 4

ASSESSOR
• To adhere to the Skills Development Provider Assessment & Moderation Policy and Procedures.
• To plan and conduct assessments as outlined in the unit standard ‘‘Conduct outcomes-based assessment and moderations’
• To conduct an assessment of candidates with reference to the relevant unit standard(s) and or qualification.
• To be guided by the Skills Development Provider Assessment plan, guide tools and reporting format.
• To conclude and discuss an Assessment Plan with TML AGENCY before any assessment begins.
• To assess in a fair and transparent manner, avoiding bias, and interview candidates if this should proofs necessary.
• To assess evidence by observing the rules of evidence.
• To assess all learner Portfolios of Evidence (POEs) as required.
• To assess all POEs and submit an assessment report in a maximum of one month from the date of collection.
• To give constructive written feedback to Leaner(s) and submit Assessment feedback on completion of the process.
• To Review all Assessment Tools/instruments.
• To immediately communicate any challenges and queries that can affect the Assessment procedure to Skills Development Provider.
• To be responsible for the Assessment Feedback register.
• To be responsible for all learner POEs during the entire Assessment process.
• To provide Learner Support during the assessment period.

MODERATOR
• To adhere to the Skills Development Provider Moderation & Moderation Policy and Procedures.
• To plan and conduct moderations as outlined in the unit standard ‘‘Conduct outcomes-based moderation and moderations’
• To conduct moderation of candidates with reference to the relevant unit standard(s) and or qualification.
• To be guided by the Skills Development Provider Moderation plan, guide tools, and reporting format.
• To conclude and discuss a Moderation Plan with RTE before any moderation begins.
• To moderate in a fair and transparent manner, avoiding bias, and interview candidates if this should proof necessary.
• To moderate evidence by observing the rules of evidence.
• To moderate all learner Portfolios of Evidences (POEs) as required.
• To moderate all POEs and submit a moderation report in a maximum of one month from the date of collection.
• To give constructive written feedback to Leaner(s) and submit Moderation feedback on completion of the process.
• To Review all Moderation Tools / instruments.
• To immediately communicate any challenges and queries that can affect the Moderation procedure to Skills Development Provider.
• To be responsible for the Moderation Feedback register.
• To be responsible for all learner POEs during the entire Moderation process.
• To provide Learner Support during the moderation period.
• To act professionally and be accountable for your actions in the moderation process.
• Report any moderation irregularities, complaints or appeals and any attempt to threaten or bribe, to Management in your report.
