Standard Bank Group: Student Bursary Programme for 2023
The Standard Bank Group bursary fund considers undergraduate and postgraduate studies. Bursary beneficiaries will be required to work for Standard Bank if in the event they receive an offer of employment by the Bank upon graduation.

Applicants must meet the entry requirements in the fields of:
- Commerce,
- Science,
- Engineering,

- Technology
Requirements:
Selection Criteria
- Applicants must register for full-time studies.
- Applicants must meet the entry requirements in the fields of: Commerce, Science, Engineering, Mathematics and Technology at a registered public university.
- Applicants will be required to participate in a formal assessment process including but not limited to Psychometric evaluation and an interview.
- Financially deserving applicants will be considered.
The Bursary will cover the following study and study-related costs:
- University fees.
- Accommodation – in a university residence or in private accommodation. Private accommodation costs will be subject to certain limits, to be explained to successful candidates upon the provisional bursary allocation.
- Meals – provided by the university or self-catering.
- Books and other study materials.
- A laptop computer.
- A monthly stipend to cover other living costs.
- Transport between home and campus 4 times a year at the cost of a bus ticket.
- During the Covid-19 pandemic, data is being provided and additional travel arrangements were made for students to go home.
