To improve struggling areas and reduce the impact of financial difficulties, the SASSA Increase in 2024 is very important.

Sassa grants recently got a boost in April, and the next increase of R10 is set to start on October 1, 2023.

Many South Africans support and applaud the decision to continue the R350 SRD award for another year in 2024.

This includes grants for older people, people with disabilities, and child support grants for kids.

Additionally, SASSA manages the Special Relief of Distress Grant, commonly known as the R350 SRD Grant.

The SASSA grants are crucial to ensure that many South Africans have the means to meet their basic needs.

SASSA provides various payment options to make sure that fund recipients receive their money conveniently and efficiently.

SASSA Increase Overview 2024

How Much Will SASSA Grant Increase in the Coming Year?

The government has announced the extension of the SRD grant through 2024 in response to people’s needs and demands.

SASSA has clarified that the SRD grant will remain at R350 per month, so these extensions do not necessarily mean an increase in the payment amount.

The extension of the SRD grant until March 31, 2024, will be funded with R36 billion, according to the finance minister.

We anticipate an increase in SASSA payments due to an expected rise in the inflation rate.

The authorities have decided to enhance SASSA grants, and they will soon announce the dates.

Some unofficial reports suggest that the increase in 2023, when various SASSA grants were recently enhanced, will be around 5%.

We expect Disability grants, foster care grants, child support grants, and war veterans grants to increase in the new financial year.
