Rand Water invites undergraduate students who are interested in joining the Water Sector to apply for the 2023/2024 External Bursary Scheme in the fields listed below:
- BSc. Water Care/Management or Water Conservation: 2nd or 3rd year
- BSc. Environmental Management (Major in Rehabilitation): 2nd or 3rd year
- BSc Architecture or Architectural Engineering: 2nd or 3rd
- Bachelor of Technology Degree in Architectural Technology – specializing in either Applied Design or Architectural Management: 2nd or 3rd or 4th year
- National Diploma in Hotel or Hospitality Management: 2nd or 3rd year
- National Diploma in Professional Cookery: 2nd or 3rd year
- National Diploma in Food and Beverage Management: 2nd or 3rd year
- BCom Informatics or Information Systems: 3rd year
- BSc Computer Science: 3rd year
- BA Records & Archival Management or Information Science: 3rd year
- BCom or National Diploma in Internal Audit: 2nd year
Minimum Requirements
- South African citizens.
- Previously disadvantaged individuals (ACI).
- Have passed Matric or equivalent and currently studying within one of the aforementioned fields of study.
- Meet minimum average of 65 % AND academic performance in major subjects in the field of study.
- Not in possession of other bursary funding.
- Applicants must be under the age of 35.
- Registered at a recognized tertiary educational institution (i.e. University, University of Technology).
Primary Duties
As a bursar, you are expected to complete your qualification on record time, in line with your bursary contract/agreement.
The following documents must accompany your application:
- Application Letter and Curriculum Vitae
- Certified copy of ID document
- Certified copy of Matric Certificate AND latest academic record
- Proof of residence
