Port Elizabeth TVET College: Learnership Programs/How to Apply!
Port Elizabeth TVET College is inviting youth to apply for the learnership and skills programs. Youth must be currently unemployed and not studying towards another qualification.
The following learning opportunities are open for applications:
ICB Booking NQF L3-6
Requirements:
- Grade 12 with Mathematics
- Grade 12 with math and accounting will be an added advantage.
New venture creation NQF L2
Requirements:
- Grades 10–12
- Must have basic numeracy and communications skills
- Must already set up own business
- Must be business-oriented.
Early childhood development NQF L4
Requirements:
- Must have completed ECD L4
- Must already be practicing in an ECD center preschool, or early foundation
End-user computing NQF L3
Requirements:
- Grades 10–12
- Must be competent in skills gained in the Further Education and Training band up to NQF L2
Craft Enterprise NQF L4
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Must have basic numeracy and communications skills
- Must have a passion for the creation of arts and crafts products
Professional Cookery NQF L4
Requirements:
- Grade 11–12
- Must be creative, Love cooking
Clothing Production NQF L4
Requirements:
- Grade 10–12
- Must be creative
Furniture making: wood
Requirements:
- Grade 10- 12
- Engineering or related activities at NQF L1 will be an added advantage
Agriculture: Plant production
Requirements:
- Grade 10–12
- An agricultural background will be an added advantage
To participate in this learning:
- Must be currently unemployed
- Must not be studying towards another qualification,
- Must be between the ages of 18 and 35.
