Metropolitan Life is launching a Graduate Development Programme to place graduate trainees in business-related disciplines. The positions offer opportunities to graduates who are keen to gain a broad understanding of the insurance industry and work across our various business units.
The programme is designed to allow graduates to gain development skills to enable career progression within the organization. The role will be supported by a learning and development programme, which will provide the successful applicant with both on-the-job training, mentorship, a formal training curriculum as well as cross-functional job rotation opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Working independently or in teams to progress the delivery of specific business projects
- Review processes to identify opportunities to find efficiencies that deliver business value
- Develop working relationships with business stakeholders to foster teamwork and collaboration
- Develop a clear understanding of business processes and systems to understand the end-to-end business value chain
- Comply with all business-related policies and procedures
- Commit to continuous learning, sharing that learning, and encouraging learning in others
- Plan and organize own workload to meet deadlines in line with agreed deliverables
- Complete any other duties expected in the role, in line with the scope, spirit, and nature of the job
Requirements
- Degree / Postgraduate qualification
- Previous work experience may be preferred, but it is not a requirement
