Internship Closing Date: 25 November 2023
Through this internship, the successful candidate will be presented with an opportunity to
acquire and develop essential skills, experience, and competencies relevant to this field. The
chosen graduate will also be responsible for supporting business operations with various tasks
and responsibilities within the program.
The Analytical Chemistry Graduate will be reporting to the Chemist and stationed at KP Lime’s
Laboratory. The incumbent’s primary tasks will be performed under mentorship and coaching
and will include and not be limited to the following:
Accurately analyzed samples (including the SABS program for hydrate). Deviations investigated
and reported. Calibration & Maintenance of Laboratory test equipment and availability of
reference standards. Ensure timeous and reliable data from testers Water sampling for Chemical
and Bacterial testing, Constructive participation in achieving laboratory objectives
Qualification I Grade 12, Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Chemistry, and a valid
driver’s license.
The appointment will combine the principles of both P LIME’s Employment Equity and Succession
Policies.
