The Harvard Ed Portal is proud to announce its 2024 HarvardX for Allston Scholarships! The HarvardX for Allston Scholarship helps recipients enhance career opportunities, explore an interest, or learn something new. Recipients receive full coverage for the verified certificate fee on any one HarvardX online course of their choice. You must be an Ed Portal member or Allston-Brighton resident to be eligible. Educators in Boston and Cambridge schools are also eligible.

Athletics Clinic Scholarships 2024

The Harvard Ed Portal, in partnership with Harvard Athletics, offers scholarships to a variety of summer athletic camps to Ed Portal youth members. The opportunities vary by age level and sport each year and are awarded based on lottery systems.

Eligibility Requirements: Recipients must be Ed Portal members. Various ages depending on individual camp requirements. Scholarships are awarded based on a lottery system of all applications received.

Ceramics Community Scholarship 2024

The Harvard Ed Portal and the Ceramics Program, Office for the Arts at Harvard, are proud to jointly offer a limited number of scholarships for a 14-week in-person course offered by the Ceramics Program for Spring 2024. Instruction will take place in person at the Harvard University Ceramics Program. Clay, glaze, and 8,600 cubic inches of firing will be provided as part of the scholarship. All students enrolled in a Ceramics course agree to comply with Ceramic Program policies.

Application Deadline: Because of high demand, Spring 2024 awardees will be chosen via lottery.

Eligibility: per the high demand, Spring 2024 awardees will be chosen via lottery. Those eligible for the lottery fit the following criteria: currently live in the Allston-Brighton neighborhood of Boston, MA and applied for but did not receive a scholarship in 2024.

Allston-Brighton Harvard Extension School Community Scholars Program

Harvard Ed Portal members, who are at least 18 years old, are eligible to apply for tuition waivers for the undergraduate or graduate certificate programs at the Harvard University Extension School. Once accepted, Harvard will provide awardees with one course tuition waiver per semester (fall and spring) until the certificate is earned. In order to remain eligible, the awardee must remain in good standing and complete all requirements of the award
