The Unisa application period for the class of 2023 began on September 1, 2023. The time that is still left for students to submit their applications has been urged to use.
A student’s full-time employment schedule can be accommodated by the flexible open distance e-learning program offered by the University of South Africa (Unisa).
Prospective students have the choice of enrolling in full- or part-time study, providing them the advantage of setting their own schedules for completing the courses they will be registered for.

In a statement, the university has confirmed:
Applications for admission to undergraduate, honours degrees and postgraduate diplomas qualifications for the 2023 academic year opened on 1 September and will close on 14 October 2023.
According to the university, the application period for its master’s and doctoral qualifications will run for approximately nine weeks, from 11 September 2023 up to 14 November 2023 (some exceptions apply).
Students may apply for qualifications at any educational level in the following fields: Accounting Sciences, Agriculture and Environmental Sciences, Economic and Management Sciences, Education, Human Sciences, Law, Science, Engineering and Technology, Graduate School of Business Leadership, and other Administration and Professional course.
First-time applicants to Unisa, current Unisa students switching to a new qualification and/or specialization, applicants who previously applied for admission but were not offered a space or who were offered a space but accepted the offer but did not register, as well as students who are finishing a higher certificate or any other program and who wish to continue with further undergraduate studies, can all submit an application.
The National Student Financial Aid Student has also officially opened funding applications for the 2023 academic year for students who are in need of financial assistance for their tertiary education.
